Its calculation involves isolating the energy consumed in the stages of harvesting, processing, manufacturing, and transportation. Every product from a pen to a chair to a house is a complex combination of many processed materials, all of which have quantifiable energy histories. If made visible and accessible, this information can empower and motivate designers of all disciplines to make informed and responsible decisions in their day-to-day material selections.

For Emergen-C, we helped reposition the beverage from one to use when sick, to an all around energy and healthy lifestyle product. To achieve this, we conceived colorful, animated silhouettes that move across the screen while engaged in a range of activities from the everyday to the acrobatic.
