TO REGISTER, please contact Frederick John at 718.663.8404.

This group of courses will help architects (as well as contractors, building owners, and consulting engineers) understand, apply, and comply with the ANSI/ASHRAE/IESNA Standard 90.1-2004 -- the minimum energy efficiency standard in the U.S. for all non-residential buildings and all residential buildings exceeding three stories. This course is a U.S. Green Building Council-approved Education Provider Program and offers a foundation for those wishing to move on to the LEED Rating Systems. This series is comprised of the following three courses: Energy-Efficient Design - Fundamentals of Standard 90.1, Advanced Energy Design Guide for Small Retail Buildings, and Advanced Energy Design Guide for Small Office Buildings. The latter two courses are a thorough study of the design concepts, strategies, and recommendations suited to the energy requirements of small retail buildings and small office buildings, respectively.

This course is accessible for 12 months online and is self-paced.  Average course completion time is 57 hours. There is no set start date.
