Gauge your readiness before approaching investors, know what to prepare and strategize the financial health of your small business for the long term. This 3 hour session will cover: how to combine your various sources of capital over time for sustained growth, understanding the general checklist of items and issues that are crucial for potential investors and sketching out the process and timeline of the venture capital alternative.
Instructor:
Carter Weiss cofounded Built NY, Inc. in 2003 and for six-and-a-half years as CEO grew built into an internationally recognized consumer products brand. Carter has a well-rounded mix of venture-capital, direct operating and corporate finance experience. He began his financial career at World Marketing Inc., a TWA holding company, where he held various accounting positions. He then joined Cornerstone Resources, a venture capital firm, as an Associate and CIS Corporations as a mergers-and-acquisitions analyst. He then spend several additional years in venture capital as a member of corporate VC fund Hollinger Capital.
