Lasercutting for 2D Design
Saturday June 19 and 26/ 10.00am-2.00pm/ 1 session/ $99
Expand the boundaries of working within traditional two-dimensional space through experimentation with lasercutting technology. By the end of this class, despite having limited or no experience in the medium, you’ll have a richer sense of how laser cutting can further your creative practice. Cover the basics, such as proper safety procedures and correct preparation of files and move on to explore - through the presentation of real client-driven projects - how laser cutting can be employed to add dimensional and aesthetic depth to print and online work. The final hour is loosely structured to allow you to experiment with either your own work or curiosities.
