Instructor:

David E. Scott began designing furniture at the age of 18 as a means of improving life in a dorm room. 5 years and a BFA later, he moved to Japan to work with an international team of artists designing and building nightclubs. He returned to the US to earn a March at SCI-Arc, then went on to design and fabricate architectural and interior elements for Los Angeles architectural firm Pugh + Scarpa. Award-winning practice DESU Design emerged out of this collaboration. Based in New York since 2000, David has spent a great deal of time seeking out the highest quality materials and vendors that are masters of their discipline both for DESU projects and for private clients.
