The problem is that I, as a designer running a small firm, represent a small potential earning for lawyers, so they tend not to give you the time and the attention that you need. Their time and attention go to the bigger clients, and they tend to put their best people with the bigger clients.”
Argentine Manuel Saez studied architecture at Argentina’s Universidad Nacional de Tucumán and graduated with a B.S. in Industrial Design and an M.S. in Technology Management from the University of Bridgeport.

Prior to opening manuel saez & partners in 2008, Manuel established and served as Design Director for the multidisciplinary in-house design team at Humanscale. He designed several award-winning products for both Humanscale and external clients such as GE and Fellowes. At Timex Corporation, Anderson Design, and Product Ventures, he worked with clients such as Intel, Gateway, Black & Decker, Shell, and Procter & Gamble. Metropolis, Fast Company, Landscape Architecture, Innovation, Architecture, Buildings, Surface, Contract, ID magazine, and The New York Times have all featured his work. His more than sixty design awards include Best of NeoCon Gold, CES honoree, the Chicago Athenaeum Good Design Award, the iF Product Design Award, and the Product Designer of the Year Award by the International Design Awards (iDA). Manuel is active in the design community, contributing regularly to Fast Company.
